Help for robot projects

The Centre for Clinical Robotics (CCR) does not fund robot projects, but we are more than ready to support and guide projects when it comes to fund applications.

CCR also helps support projects with project management, establishing contact with companies and providing an overview of other robot projects at Odense University Hospital (OUH) and the University of Southern Denmark (SDU).

Once a year, Odense University Hospital (OUH) provides funding from an internal innovation fund that can be applied for by employees at the hospital. Information about the funding, application deadlines, etc. can be found on the hospital's intranet.

OUH has a number of funding pools with different focus areas, where researchers at OUH can apply for funding for their research projects.

The Health Innovation Centre of Southern Denmark provides an overview of a large number of (primarily Danish) foundations in an annual schedule.

OPEN helps health science researchers in the Region of Southern Denmark with data collection, biobanking, register data, and formalities surrounding research projects.

SDU RIO (SDU Research & Innovation Organisation) offers guidance to researchers at the University of Southern Denmark on possible collaborations with companies and institutions.

SDU RIO advises on commercial and legal issues as well as on opportunities for research funding.

The platform RegMetrics helps researchers and clinicians gain an overview and understand relevant regulatory requirements, and supports a more structured approach to documentation and approvals in innovation projects. The platform is currently available to employees at the University of Southern Denmark and the Region of Southern Denmark until October 2026. Sign up with your SDU or RSYD email.
