The mobile robot Prøvsen has had its route extended

Prøvsen has had its route extended so that it now goes to the Intensive Care Unit at the Department of Neurology every morning at 06.30 to collect blood samples, which must be transported to the laboratory at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry.

Prøvsen is an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR), which can navigate the hospital's hallways while avoiding bumping into patients, staff, bed transports, garbage trucks and so on.

With this expansion, Prøvsen's route takes it through the children's outpatient clinic and the children's day hospital at the Hans Christian Andersen Hospital for Children and Adolescents, through the intensive care units of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, and to the Department of Clinical Immunology.
